Open Rank Clinical or Research Faculty/ DEI Liaison: TEACCH Autism Program- Department of Psychiatry, University of North Carolina The TEACCH Autism Program at the University of North Carolina has an opening for a faculty member who will serve as the programβs Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Liaison. The faculty member will hold a position as (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor) fixed term faculty with rank dependent on experience, in the Department of Psychiatry, UNC School of Medicine. We are seeking a faculty with expertise in serving underserved populations who will lead our DEI strategic planning initiatives including (1) ensuring that TEACCH provides evidence-based services that fits with the needs of diverse families and (2) creating autism training opportunities for diverse students. In addition to leading our DEI initiatives, a clinical faculty would be expected to provide clinical services including carrying a diagnostic and treatment caseload and providing community consultation. A research faculty would be expected to engage in externally funded research and provide community consultation. Teaching responsibilities for both clinical and research faculty will include delivery of local, national, and international training programs and supervision of student trainees. This position is open beginning July 1, 2022. Recruitment is ongoing until filled.
