Provides professional staff support in grant proposal submission activities.Β Collaborates with leadership to develop a proposal services infrastructure to facilitate and enhance proposal submissions by members.Β Under minimal supervision, responsibilities consist of upper-level research program management duties that require a deep understanding of research administration concepts, guidelines, principles, and practices. Coordinates duties with research administration and financial management programs, policies, and guidelines.Β  (Sooner SUCCESS program - based in Garfield County) for the University.Β  Β

Duties:
  • Meeting Attendance.Β  Establishes and maintains or coordinates.Β  Help organize or conduct meetings. Develop meeting agendas and notes. Attends monthly coalition meetings.Β  Attends or visits various events or meetings that involve obtaining support for the program, keeping abreast of current issues related to children with special needs.Β Β Β 
  • Activity Coordination. Β Provides resource and referral information to families and providers. Β Disseminates project information to potential local stakeholders.Β  Documents dissemination activities. Coordinates activities with institutions, counselors, students and professionals to facilitate proper functioning of the program. Assist with statewide events to support family caregivers. Β 
  • Direction.Β  Provides direction or support for the statewide Respite program.Β  Identifies and maintains a listing of current respite resources, to be shared with the community.Β  Provides recommendations to enhance service coordination and county collaboration.Β 
  • Communication.Β  Interfaces with family members, local service providers and other key stakeholders.Β  Electronically submits data on respite service coordination activities and community contacts into a data base.Β 
  • Continuing Education.Β  Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities as they develop to improve respite services.
  • Technical Support.Β  Assist with respite service coordination for individual children/families, follows-up with all referrals.Β  Gathers information and contacts families promptly.Β Β  Documents respite service coordination activities. Provides technical support for the program by performing varying tasks as deemed necessary by the current situation.Β 
  • As Needed.Β  Performs various tasks as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Required education: Bachelor's Degree,Β AND:
  • 60 months experience in proposal submission and/or research administration

Equivalent/ Substitution\:Β Will accept 48 months experience in proposal submissions and/or research administration in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree for a total of 108Β months experience
