Starting Salary Range: $77,193 - $105,024

Job Summary: The Manager, Business Diversity Development (Compliance) is responsible for providing management and oversight of compliance activities for the Nashville International Airport's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE), and Small, Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (SMWBE) program.

Essential Responsibilities:ย 

  • Manages and oversees the day-to-day compliance activities of the Business Diversity Development Department.
  • Identifies contracts and procurements to ensure DBE and SMWBE participation levels are achieved.
  • Manages outreach efforts related to business development, diversity and inclusion, workforce development and the community.
  • Advises DBEs, ACDBEs and SMWBEs and community organizations of procurement opportunities.
  • Analyzes contractorsโ€™ progress toward participation goals, project management, and identifies improvement opportunities.
  • Analyzes documentation to determine eligibility standards.
  • Develops DBE and SMWBE training and trains staff, contractors, and others as needed.
  • Reconciles compliance data integrity issues to ensure accuracy.
  • Works with compliance and monitoring software.
  • Develops and/or revises Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the compliance function.
  • Trains compliance specialists on compliance job duties and functions.
  • Assists Director of BDD with goal and staff development for the compliance specialists.
  • Evaluates and scores job performance of compliance specialists.
  • Ensures Director of BDD is informed of compliance issues as appropriate.
  • Maintains regular and on-time attendance.
  • Follows all safety regulations.
  • Supports MNAAโ€™s commitment to its culture and values, including Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence (RISE).
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:

  • Contract Compliance: Knowledge of contract compliance for DBE program, ACDBE program, SMWBE program, and related federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Microsoft Office: Skill in using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications:ย 

Required:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, finance, management, or related field or eight years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Four to seven years' experience in diversity programs, government regulations, supervisory practices, or related experience.ย 

Preferred:ย 

  • Seven to ten years relevant work experience.ย
