Your Role:
As the Senior Manager - Policy and Advocacy, you will be a key pillar of HESTA’s overall policy and advocacy approach. You will contribute significantly to ensuring our members retire comfortably in a sustainable, fair, and healthy world. You’ll develop and maintain strong professional connections with a wide variety of stakeholders, both inside and outside HESTA, to engage with policy debates and formulate and deliver responses where required. Your focus will be on identifying and responding to the numerous policy issues that impact the welfare of our members.Β Β 

About You:

  • Politically Astute: Your deep political acumen and ability to influence across all levels are vital. You have a talent for managing relationships to optimize message delivery.
  • Skilled Communicator: You excel at synthesizing complex information into compelling, audience-centric content that resonates and persuades.
  • Dynamic Under Pressure: You thrive under pressure, bringing positive, creative, and collaborative energy to your work every day.
  • Experienced Advocate: Whether your background is in a superannuation fund, politics, or another policy sphere, your experience in consulting widely and delivering impactful outcomes will be invaluable.
  • Relationship Builder: You are adept at working productively and consulting widely with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring that your work delivers meaningful results.
