Function:
Under the direction of the Klingberg Childrenβs Advocacy Center (KCAC) Director, the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Coordinator plans, implements, and monitors the child abuse response in the MDT region. Works directly with MDT partners and KCAC advocates to ensure KCAC services are meeting the needs to both the MDT partners and children served at KCAC. Provides accurate and timely documentation related to MDT case tracking required for reporting.Β

Provides support and training related to the CAC process to MDT and community partners.
Facilitates MDT case review meetings and case consultations.
Ensures proper documentation and reporting for MDT activities.
Works to build new partnerships with MDT stakeholders.
Participates in weekly, mandatory program staff meetings.
Participates in trainings/workshops as it relates to a coordinated child abuse response and the Childrenβs Advocacy Center (CAC) model.
Participate in statewide workgroups and initiatives related to the Childrenβs Advocacy Center model.
Makes referrals to and collaborates with psychiatric, psychological, medical and legal professionals as needed.
Works collaboratively with Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) partners including DCF, law enforcement and other legal/social service agencies involved with the client and family to ensure a coordinated child abuse response.
Abides by the ethical and professional standards as outline by the National Childrenβs Alliance (NCA).
Education/Experience requirements:
Bachelorβs Degree required, Master's Degree in related area (M.S.W., M.F.T, Criminal Justice) preferred. 2-4 years of related experience required. Supervisory experience preferred. Works 40 hours per week.Β
