Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Β
Ramapo College is currently operating under the RamaPro model which is a pilot program allowing for a remote component to work schedules where operations support that model.
This is a full-time, AFT position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Β Note: This position is in the βNLβ category of employment (non-fixed work week) An AFT- NL professional staff member or librarian who is required to work beyond 35 hours shall be compensated through compensatory time off. Compensatory time shall be earned for hours worked beyond the normal work week, or on an employeeβs regular day off, if requested and approved by their supervisor.

JOB SUMMARY:Β
The Coordinator of the Womenβs Center reports to the reports to the Assistant Director of the Center for Student Involvement. The Coordinator is responsible for assisting in facilitating the vision for services and programming of the Women's Center, which frequently require additional skills in counseling, advocacy, and referral. The mission of the Women's Center incorporates a commitment to understanding and embracing all types of diversity and the Coordinator provides leadership in supporting this goal.
The Coordinator serves as a campus resource and helps educate the community on issues regarding women and gender. The Coordinator is responsible for establishing the Center's vision and forΒ addressingΒ studentΒ concerns regarding women and gender issues. The Coordinator works closely with students and student organizations to build leadership skills and develop relevant programing.
The Coordinator, as part of the CSI staff, also has shared responsibilities for event coverage, the development of a comprehensive activities calendar, and supporting the mission of the College, the Division, and the Unit
