The Women’s and Gender Studies Program of Georgetown University invites applications for a part-time adjunct position as a Professorial Lecturer. A vibrant interdisciplinary undergraduate program in Georgetown College, the Women’s and Gender Studies (WGST) Program offers both a major and a minor/certificate. WGST faculty members are drawn from a variety of academic disciplines.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach two sections of “Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies” for the spring semester of 2024 with the understanding that these courses will continue to be offered for the foreseeable future. Salary is commensurate with publications and teaching experience.
Preference will be given to applicants who hold the doctoral degree by December 31, 2023, but ABD’s with extensive teaching experience will be considered.
