This posting is for a full-time, 12-month, exempt Fellow position. The Project and Grant Coordinator provides oversight to specific grant-related projects, ensuring that project deliverables are completed as planned on time and on budget. This role provides professional project management and analytical expertise in support of all phases of the assigned project including development, planning, execution, and evaluation as well as motivating and supporting others to achieve goals and deliverables. This is an exciting dual-role position, combining Project Coordinator (2/3 time) and Grant Coordinator (1/3 time) responsibilities. Essential Functions
On-campus & Remote Hybrid work: This position will require on-campus work hours, as well as flexible remote work opportunities. This position requires regular, predictable, reliable attendance in the office environment, either physically on campus or virtually via video conferencing software.ย
Project Coordination
1.ย ย ย Attending regular meetings with government officials, university colleagues, and other partners. ย
2.ย ย ย Providing project updates and collaborating with external stakeholders to enhance program visibility.
3.ย ย ย Assisting in the development and management of training programs, including coordinating with educational institutions and workforce development organizations.
4.ย ย ย Overseeing financial tasks such as budget tracking and invoice management.
5.ย ย ย Acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
6.ย ย ย Supporting the pursuit of external funding and resources for program participants.
Grant Coordination
7.ย ย ย Assist the grants manager with budget preparation and tracking to ensure alignment with funding requirements.
8.ย ย ย Support the grants manager in the development and submission of grant proposals by gathering necessary documents.
9.ย ย ย Help track deadlines and maintain records for grant compliance and audits.
10.ย ย ย Assist in identifying potential funding sources to support ongoing projects.
11.ย ย ย Help maintain organized records of grants and ensure adherence to guidelines.
12.ย ย ย Communicate with stakeholders as directed to ensure objectives and requirements are conveyed effectively.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, and fax machines.ย
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. ย
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time 12-month Fellow position, and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Project coordinator is a Grant-funded position from hire date through JUNE 2025. At which time this would become a part-time grants coordinator position. Possibility of additional funding through other grants.

A valid US driverโ license with a safe driving record is required.

Preferred Education and Experience
1.ย ย ย Bachelorโs degree, preferably in business administration, finance, public administration, communications, or a related field.ย
2.ย ย ย Prior experience in grant management, budgeting, or project management is strongly preferred.
